Hanoi is now focused on concretizing these regulations into programs, projects, and plans to put the law into practice. Simultaneously, it encourages and facilitates the participation of scientific and technological organizations and professional social organizations to foster the rapid, strong, and sustainable development of craft villages.
Understanding these practical needs, a number of dedicated cultural, artistic, and economic activists in the capital recently established the Institute of Economics, Culture, and Arts. The institute operates under the motto: "Rule of Law - Connecting Potential - Increasing Value - Sustainable Development," aiming to enhance the values of craft villages and contribute to the development of modern, livable rural areas, while promoting cultural industries and attracting tourism.
Accordingly, the institute will actively accompany various agencies in organizing festivals and events to promote OCOP products and safe specialties associated with the promotion of local cultures from different regions. They will advise producers on innovating product packaging, harnessing the cultural values embodied in their products, and enhancing communication to spread cultural messages within each product. This contributes to brand building and improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products.
Currently, the institute is actively collaborating and accompanying various agencies to organize the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024, the first Hanoi Ornamental Creature Festival, the Hanoi Agricultural and Craft Village Product Festival, and many other festival activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
